Betty Jacquelyn McCurry

Betty Jacqulyn (Jackie) McCurry, age 82 of Gainesville, passed away May 21st, 2024, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.

Ms. McCurry was born November 10, 1941, in Toccoa, Ga, to the late Roy Holcomb and Grace Kellar McCurry.

She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Woodard (Chris), Gale Frizzell (Mark); grandchildren Nicholas Williams, Tanner Williams (Tori), and Bailey Frizzell Rogers (Tyler); great grandchildren, Hayden and River Williams; her dog, Cooper; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jackie was a graduate of Toccoa High School.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. After retiring, she loved to make jewelry, read, bird watch, and visit with friends.  She also loved a good chicken liver.

Per Ms. McCurry’s wishes, there will be no formal service.
