Julia Marie Black

Julia Marie Black, 36, of Homer, GA, passed away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center on Sunday, May, 19, 2024, after battling cancer.  There will be a Celebration of Life/Memorial service planned for a later date.       

Julia was the daughter of the late Melvin and Linda Black. Survivors include her children Miranda, Emily, and Kelsey Black, and Della Parker of Jasper, GA; her brother Hank Jim Black of Homer, GA and Melvin Black of Jefferson, GA.           

Julia attended Banks County High School.  She had a big heart and made everyone smile wherever she went. Julia was a great mother who loved her girls with all her heart. She and her brother Hank were very close, and Julia was very thankful for him always being there for her and her girls.  Julia will be missed dearly.
