Gloria Annette Prestridge

Gloria Annette Prestridge, of Pendergrass, Georgia, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024.

Gloria Annette Prestridge, 82, was born September 27, 1941, at her parents’ home on Hillcrest Avenue in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Eddie Warren and Ruby Mozelle (Gilmer) Prestridge.

She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.  She retired as Controller/Administrator for Lakewood Baptist Church in March 2014, where she was employed for 19 years.

Predeceased by her parents.  She is survived by sister, Carolyn and her husband, Howard Cooper; niece, Amy and her husband Randall Brown; niece Betsy, and her husband, Joel Garner; great-niece, Melissa, and her husband, Chris Thomas; great nephew, Eric Garner; great-great nieces, Breelan and Braylee Thomas.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Lakewood Baptist Church, with Dr. Tom Smiley and Dr. Tyler Smiley officiating.  Interment will be at Harmony Hall Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following.

The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Lakewood Baptist Church with interment in Harmony Hall Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family would like to thank the staff at NGHS Hospice for their love and care over the past few weeks.
