Larry "Papa" Bowen

Larry “Papa” Bowen, 77, passed away peacefully at home, on May 14th 2024, surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by his wife Thelma “Nanny” Bowen. Papa is survived by his children, Janice Reynolds (Scott) of Heflin, AL; Scoot Bowen (Jana) of Winder, GA; and Danny Bowen of Heflin, AL; and his six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. 

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Duluth City Cemetery in Duluth, GA.
