Judith "Judy" Kelley Pirkle

Judith “Judy” Kelley Pirkle, age 82, of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Floyd Pirkle; brother, Mike Kelley; and parents, Ray and Jimmie Brogdon Kelley. Mrs. Pirkle is survived by son, Kelley Pirkle, of Buford; granddaughter, Kailey Pirkle of Jefferson, GA; great grandson, Kayden Quintana of Jefferson; sister-in-law, Elaine Kelley of Buford; niece, Crystal Kelley of Buford; great nephew, Michael (Kim) Kelley of Buford; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Kelley was born on September 19, 1941 in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Buford High School. She retired from Buford First United Methodist Church Preschool, and before working there she had worked for many years in child care with Faye Miles at Hamilton Mill Child Development Center in Buford. Judy was a member of Buford First United Methodist Church. In addition to her love of taking care of children, she loved spending time with her family, traveling, and working with her flowers and roses.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 17.
