D. Steve Anderson

D. Steve Anderson, 78, of Dawsonville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, surrounded by family and friends at his home, after a short battle with cancer.

Steve spent more than 50 years in the insurance industry, and recently retired after 30 years with Hamby and Aloisio.  In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Debbie Anderson, his brother, Alan Anderson (Brenda); nephew, Chris Anderson (Jesica) and their children, Chloe, Carter and Ryleigh; niece Marianne Sadler (Cray) and their child, Carter; sister in law Leigh Coats (Steve) and their children Jason (Baggio), Conner and Tyler; and daughter Melisa Ferris (Tom) and their child Sophia, as well as many special friends. He was proceeded in death by his mother Mary Fleeman.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to follow.
