Ann Copenhaver Mills
Mrs. Ann Copenhaver Mills, age 74 of Toccoa, gained her heavenly wings on Thursday May 9, 2024 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton, Georgia.
A daughter of the late Lewis and Caroline Bryant Copenhaver, she was born December 11, 1949 in Hunington, West Virginia having lived most of her life in Toccoa. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia and retired with thirty years of service with the Stephens County School System as a Counselor. She loved to read, owls, art, and antiques and was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include her husband Ed Mills of the home, sons Jon Mills and Matt Mills of Martin, brother Jim Copenhaver of Florida, sisters Mary Waite and Sue Ellen Collins, two nephews Tim and Danny Waite and a niece Karen Copenhaver
A memorial service will be held Friday May 17th, 2024 at 3 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerrell Beatty and the Reverend Don Scott officiating. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. and on Thursday from 4 P.M. – 6 P.M.
Inturnment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
