Clairese Brawner Wright was born March 13, 1955 in Gainesville GA to the late Mr. Cleo and Mrs. Vera Mae (Harrison) Brawner. She was preceded in death by her siblings Lucille Brawner Brown, Mary Ruth Brawner, Bobby Lee Brawner and nephew, Lamon Brawner.
Throughout her life, Clairese finds solace and strength in her spiritual practices. She exemplified compassion, generosity, and unwavering faith, leaving a profound impact on all who knew her. She had a gentle spirit, a warm smile, and a heart full of love. She took great pride in nurturing and supporting her family, instilling in them the values of love, kindness, and faith.
She leaves a foundation of love in her children Ronald Gematrice (Marie) Wilmont of Davenport, IA and Michael Makel (Katrina) Wright of Gainesville GA; sister Joyce Smith and brother Kem Brawner of Gainesville GA; niece Jade (Jim) Nguyen and nephews Frederick William Brawner and John Thompson; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Clairese will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. While we mourn her passing, we take solace in the knowledge that she has found eternal peace in the embrace of her faith.
May her soul rest in peace and may her legacy of love and faith continue to inspire us all.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Cross Plains Baptist Church at 1:00 PM. Viewing will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Wimberly Funeral Home between the hours of 12:00 PM -4:30 PM. The family will recieve friends on Friday, May 10, 2024, between the hours of 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Cross Plains Baptist Church. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
