Essie Lucille Satterfield Elliott

Mrs. Essie Lucille Satterfield Elliott, 86, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. David Sosebee and Rev. Bruce Whitmire will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Monday, May 6, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on February 17, 1938 in Blairsville, she was the daughter of John and Alice Plott Satterfield. She was retired from ZF Transmission and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Elliott was preceded in death by her parents, John Satterfield and Alice Plott Satterfield; husband, Frank Elliott; brother, John Satterfield and sister, Flora Venus.

Mrs. Elliott is survived her daughter, Sandra Lovell of Murrayville; daughters and sons in law, Brenda and David Sosebee of Toccoa, Penny and Bruce Whitmire of Gainesville, Patty and Glen Howard of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Adam Nix, Heather Shirley, Lindsay Adams, Brandie Martin, Brandon Whitmire, John Conroy, Elizabeth Robinson., Elliott Conroy;  great-grandchildren, Avery Nix, Archer Nix, Delilah Nix, Logan Shirley, Rylee Shirley, Colton Shirley, Ava Adams, Augustus Martin, Avonleigh Martin; nieces, Linda Rae Venus of Kansas City, MO, Vivian Martin of FL, nephew, Paul Venus of Kansas City, MO; and a number of other loving relatives.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Northeast Georgia for their compassion and love showed to Mrs. Elliott and the Elliott family.
