Ret. Lt. Col. (USMC) Timothy M. Gaskins

Ret. Lt. Col. (USMC) Timothy M. Gaskins, age 70, of Flowery Branch, GA, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Loris and Edna Gaskins; brothers, Robert Gaskins, and Mark Gaskins.  Col. Gaskins is survived by his wife of 49 years, Susan Gaskins of Flowery Branch, GA; children, Casey Alan (Berit) Gaskins of Germany, Daniel James Gaskins of Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Constantin Gaskins, and Nikolas Gaskins; sister, Sandra (Doug) Wentz of Melbourne, FL; brothers, Steve (Linda) Gaskins of Gainesville, FL, Richard (Shelly) Gaskins of Indian Harbor Beach, FL, and John Brian Gaskins of Chattanooga, TN.

Col. Gaskins was born February 16, 1954 in Charleston, S.C.  He was a retired Colonel from the Marine Corp. after 25 years of service.  He was a 1972 graduate of Satellite High School in Satellite, Beach, FL., and was a 1976 graduate of Florida Technological University with a Bachelors’ Degree.  Col. Gaskins was the owner of A/C Doctors, Inc.  He was a member of Bulloch Chapel at Lake Lanier and a member of the Bad Apple Flying Club.

A Memorial Service with Military Honors, will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 18, 2024 in the Bulloch Chapel of University Yacht Club, 6700 Yacht Club Road, Flowery Branch, GA, 30542.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eagle Ranch, P.O. Box 7500, Chestnut Mountain, Ga. 30502, in memory of Timothy Gaskins.
