Frank Elliott

Mr. Frank Elliott, 90, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. David Sosebee and Rev. Bruce Whitmire will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on November 8, 1933 in Blairsville, he was the son of George and Nora Griggs Elliott. He was retired from Dundee Mills where he was a machinist. Mr. Elliott was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Elliott was preceded in death by his parents, George and Nora Elliott; brother, Floyd Elliott and sisters, Margie King, Opal Lovell and Bonnie Lovell.

Mr. Elliott is survived by his wife, Essie Satterfield Elliott of Gainesville; daughter, Sandra Lovell of Murrayville; daughters and sons in law, Brenda and David Sosebee of Toccoa, Penny and Bruce Whitmire of Gainesville, Patty and Glen Howard of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Adam Nix, Heather Shirley, Lindsay Adams, Brandie Martin, Brandon Whitmire, John Conroy, Elizabeth Robinson., Elliott Conroy;  great-grandchildren, Avery Nix, Archer Nix, Delilah Nix, Logan Shirley, Rylee Shirley, Colton Shirley, Ava Adams, Augustus Martin, Avonleigh Martin, a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
