Mr. Jimmie Edward Blackwell, age 64 of South Pine Street, Toccoa passed away Friday, April 26th, 2024 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville, Georgia.
A son of the late Edgar Blackwell and the late Essie Mae Sisk Blackwell, he was born June 27, 1959 in Franklin County, having lived in Franklin and Stephens County most of his life. He was a self employed Carpenter. He loved working with his hands and doing any kind of wood work. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife Cheryl Lynn Million Blackwell, sisters Jeanette Payne and Brenda Bohannon.
Survivors include daughter and sons Cora Holbrooks, Toccoa, Phillip Love, Toccoa, Michael Love, Mountain City, Mark Ramey, Toccoa and Albert Sertain, Toccoa. Eight grandchildren and One great-grandchild; a number of nieces and nephews.
