Our Dear Brother Pyra J. Cooper, 41, of Buford, GA was called to rest in our Savior’s arms on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024. Pyra blessed this world with his presence on October 14th 1982 when he was born into the arms of Bobby J Cooper and Lamarr Gloria Brown.
Pyra is survived by his daughter’s Zariyah and Kyra Cooper; brother’s Robert T. Cooper, Kalaeb G. Brown; sister’s Janice Weatherspoon, Jean Winfield, Quenna Cooper, Monica Cooper, Helena Reed, Lisa Brown, Sakeenah Cooper-Serrano, & Afrikeena Cooper; aunt Jacquelyn Welch; uncle Kenneth Hammonds; and a host of Nieces, Nephews & Cousins.
Our beloved Pyra was a man known for his infectious laughter, his radiant smile, his kind heart, and his unwavering willingness to give to others. Pyra touched the lives of all who knew him with his warmth and generosity.
One of the most beautiful things about Pyra was his laughter - a laughter that could light up a room and lift the spirits of those around him. His smile was a reflection of the joy and love that he carried in his heart, a beacon of positivity that brightened even the darkest of days.
Pyra's kindness knew no bounds. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, offer words of comfort, and share whatever he had with those in need. His selflessness and compassion were truly inspiring, and his acts of generosity left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
But above all, Pyra's greatest love was reserved for his children and his family. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.
As we bid farewell let us remember him not with tears of sadness, but with smiles of gratitude for having known such a loving individual. His laughter, his smile, his kindness, and his love will live on in our memories and in the hearts of all who were touched by his presence.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 11 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens.
