Carl Terry Kirk

Carl Terry Kirk, 81, of Suwanee, GA, died Saturday, April 20, 2024.  The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 3:00 PM on the same day as the funeral service.

Terry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Johnetta Barker Kirk of Suwanee; daughters, Cindria Brado of Rock Hill, SC; Lisa Gabriel (Jeff) of Braselton, GA; Heather Motise (Sean) of Buford, GA; and Joanna Dotson (Josh) of Suwanee, GA; grandchildren, Ryan Kirk (Tabatha), Adam Brado, Mark Brado (Lindsay), Joseph Gabriel (Haley), Olivia Gabriel, Peter Gabriel (Sarah Ashley), Samuel Dotson; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Terry was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 10, 1942, and relocated to Georgia in 1971, moving to Suwanee in 1994.  He retired from General Motors in Doraville as a tool-and-die maker after 34 years of service.  Terry enjoyed music, singing in the church choir, and watching the Atlanta Falcons.  He loved his family deeply and always kept us laughing with his sense of humor.  He leaves a legacy of faith as a devout follower of Jesus Christ.
