Jermaine Johnson 51 of Gainesville passed away on Monday, April 22nd.
ermaine was born April 27, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Wanda Willingham and Claude Lee Garner. Jermaine went to sleep on April 22, 2024 at 3:21 a.m.
Jermaine accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of the Youth Department, Youth Choir, and Junior Usher Board.
He attended King High School in Chicago, IL and went on to study at Harold Washington College in Chicago, IL.
Jermaine held multiple leadership positions and roles throughout his work career. He joined Enterprise Holdings in 2010 where he held the position as a Senior Auto Dealer for over a decade.
Jermaine contributed to the community by supporting the homeless. He was loving, strong willed, compassionate, hardworking, dependable, caring, generous, and very attentive. Jermaine loved music, family gatherings, playing cards, watching movies and sports, he also enjoyed being in fashion with clothes and shoes. He also enjoyed detailing cars and especially keeping his family’s cars clean.
Jermaine and Patricia met in 2005 in Chicago, IL. They then relocated to Gainesville, GA in 2007. They held hand in Holy Matrimony on December 17, 2016.
Jermaine leaves behind his wife, Patricia; 3 daughters, Jasmine, Desirray and LaShay; and one son, Jermaine. He also has 5 sisters; Charmaine, Claudette, Shay, Ann, and Nippy. He had 4 grandchildren; King Adrien Williams, Kamari Johnson Stephens, Marquese Cisero Wilson, Jr., and Layanna Promise. Jermaine also had a sister-in law, Regina (Billy) Powell and a brother in law, Anthony Promise. He had a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and close friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Antioch Baptist Church at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 between the hours of 12:00 PM- 8:00 PM .
