Judy Kay McCallister

Judy Kay McCallister, age 77, of Demorest, passed away at home on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

Mrs. McCallister was born on November 6, 1946, in Fort Worth Texas to Ardney and Naomia Lindsey. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Phil Lindsey.

Judy Kay was deeply loved by those she left behind. For she was a humble, loving, gentle, kind, and joyous soul. A faithful believer of redemption through Jesus Christ. She fought the good fight of faith and won her crown in Glory, Amen. She was the most excellent mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a sincere friend to all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Harold McCallister of Fairview; daughter and son in-law, Kristy and Raymond Holt; son, Clay McCallister; grandchildren, Ryan and Nikki Holt, Ethan and Katrina Holt, Logan and Rachel Holt, Kara and Derek Moss, Abby McCallister; seven great grandchildren, Wren, Emma, Calla, Riley,  Mac (McCallister), Parker and Harlow.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Monday, April 22, 2024, at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Keith McCallister will officiate.  Interment will follow at Chattahoochee Baptist Church Cemetery.
