Mason Thor Reed

Mason Thor Reed, age 28, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.  He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He was friendly to everyone he met. He was the best “Uncle Dad” to his nieces and nephews. Mason always enjoyed riding his motorcycle and being with his family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon (Willie Lee) Irvin, Sr., and Ronald Reed; uncle, Tony Reed; and cousins, Heather Irvin and Victor Irvin.

He is survived by parents, Shane and Cindy Reed; siblings, Daniel (Amber) Stewart, April Reed, and Hunter (Cheyenne) Reed; grandmother, Ann Reed “Nana”; grandfather, Jack (Connie) Burkett; aunts and uncles, Marty Reed, Ronnie (Holly) Reed, Melanie Bagley, Cindy Steele, Teresa Kinsey, Vernon Irvin, Jr, and Claude (Trudie) Irvin; nieces and nephew; Emily, Hailey and Henson; along with many other loving relatives, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA with Rev. Gary Wilson. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
