Pedro Pardave Barrera

Mr. Pedro Pardave Barrera, age 62 of Gumlog Road, Martin passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

A son of Guadalupe Barrera and the late Lorenzo Pardave, he was born December 9, 1961 in Distrito Federal, Mexico, having lived in Atlanta and Florida before moving to Martin in 2007.  He was employed with Simmons Masonry for a number of years until his health no longer allowed him to work. He loved working with his hands and could do most anything.  He loved everyone and loved helping those in need.  He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Welcome Faith Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Guadalupe Barrera; his wife, Sherry J. Likley of the home; two sons, Michael Likley of St. Augustine, Florida and Jason Likley of Martin, Georgia; four grandchildren; five sisters, Teresa Barrera, Elvia Pardave, Dolores Pardave, Araceli Pardave and Ana Lilia Pardave; two brothers, Roberto Pardave and Carlos Pardave; mother-in-law, Mary Likley of Martin; a number of nieces and nephews and cousins.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, 1 p.m. at Welcome Faith Baptist Church with The Reverend Ray Bohannon officiating.
