Doreen Ann (Leonardi) Pond

Mrs. Doreen Ann (Leonardi) Pond, age 77, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, April 19, 2024 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.

Doreen was born October 6, 1946 in Plymouth, MA and was the daughter of the late Francis Leonardi and Clara (Burder) Leonardi. She is also preceded in death by her son, Roberts Alberghini, Jr. and sisters, Diana Quigley and Vivian Perkins.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Pond, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Richard Pond, Jr. and Jennifer; daughter, Michele “ James Perkins” and son, Francis Alberghini; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a number of other family and friends also survive.
