Susan Runkle Ward

Susan Runkle Ward, age 57, of Jefferson, GA, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Pat Runkle; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernest and Nancy Ward. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jerry W. “Scott” Ward; children, Connie Robinson, and James (LeAnn) Ward; three grandchildren, Justus Robinson, Jaxton trammell, and Landen Ward; brother, Steve Runkle of Buford, GA; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Annette and Calvin Ashworth of Commerce, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Ward was born on February 3, 1967 in Dallas, TX. She received her education at Buford High School. Mrs. Ward was employed with Ollies Distribution Center.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA., with Rev. Chad Roebuck officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The Family will receive friends on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
