Edward "Ed" Paul Young

Edward “ Ed” Paul Young, age 58, of Buford GA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
Ed was born on May 27, 1965, in Montgomery, West Virginia. Shortly after he was born his family moved to West Chester, Ohio where he grew up and met the love of his life. He attended Lakota High School and graduated in 1983. Ed had a successful career for over 35 years as a skilled machinist and was later employed by Delta Airlines where he planned to retire. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Patricia Young.
Ed is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marsha Young of Buford, GA; children, Joseph “Joey” Young of Buford GA, Erin Young of Hoschton, GA, and Emma Young of Buford, GA; brothers John Young of West Chester, OH, and Jay (Martha) Young of Wichendon, MA; uncles, Gene (Marianne) Young of CA, and Ronnie Bobbit of WV; aunts, Jane (Russell) Bowling of VA, and Jackie Young of KY, and several cousins.
Ed was a wonderful husband and provider to his wife, and they created a great life together full of love and unforgettable memories. He was also an amazing and proud father that loved taking care of his kids and always encouraging them to proceed in great adventures. Ed was a fearless, kind, comedic, inspiring, and wise man that loved to travel, his job at Delta, the sport of baseball and coaching his children’s teams, hunting, sharing stories and laughing, and most of all he loved his family and friends deeply. Ed impacted so many lives and made a lasting impression on everyone he met, and he enjoyed his life to the fullest. Please continue to share his stories in honor of his precious memory.
