Shanna Alun Willis was born on May 19, 1984. She sadly had to depart this life on April 2, 2024. She was proceeded in death by her late mother Teresa S Willis and father Trent Jordan Willis, her grandmother Rachel Emma Jo Simpson and her daughter Shymere Laforest Sade Willis. She graduated from East Hall High School as class of 2003. After she graduated, she never really got to finish college because she devoted her life to taking care of her three beautiful children: Anaya Aaliyah Willis, Anthony Bernard Willis and Shylae’ Teresa Shyrell Willis. She was the strongest, most loving and caring mother to her children. She took care of her children until they were old enough to take care of themselves. She never turned her back on anyone she loved, including her children. Shanna never got the chance to get married, but she did end up finding the love of her life Dwight (Champ) Goss. This love brought her heart happiness and a peace of mind. Cooking was her best attribute other than making you laugh to the point where your stomach hurts, but it warmed your heart at the same time. She always did her best for others even if she could not do it for herself. Her passion for cooking led her to the title of becoming a chef at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Bright Spot and her current job was Riverside Military Academy. She was survived in death by her lover Dwight (Champ) Goss, her three Beautiful children: Daughter Anaya A. Willis, Son (“Sunshine”) Anthony B. Willis and youngest daughter Shylae T.S Willis, Her siblings: (Big Brother) Keyon Harrison and (Big Sister) Monika Harrison and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Ellis Chapel CME, Eastanollee, GA at 2:30 PM. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Wimberly Funeral Home between the hours of 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Family will receive friends between the hours of 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
