Sandra Elizabeth Chapman

Sandra Elizabeth Chapman, 75, of Gainesville passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at her residence following a brief battle with stomach cancer.

Mrs. Chapman was born June 26, 1948 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late John Henry and Sarah Elizabeth (Shelton) Beck.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eston Chapman; son, Stacey Chapman; brothers, Horace Beck, Raymond Beck and J.W. Beck, all of Gainesville. Mrs. Chapman was of the Congregational Holiness Faith.

Survivors include sons, Casey Chapman and Davey Chapman, both of Gainesville; sister, Linda Jahnke, Gainesville; sister in laws, Gaye Beck, Oakwood, Jean Beck and Linda Godfrey, both of Gainesville; brother in law, Roger Chapman, Talmo and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 4100 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, Georgia. Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
