Born March 22, 1988, Kyle was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.  He was a 2006 graduate of Dawson County High School and worked at Amicalola EMC.  Kyle’s greatest love in life was his family.  He loved their adventures, camping, coaching his children, and supporting them in all of their activities.  He also enjoyed watching college sports and listening to music, especially on a country gold Saturday night.  Kyle loved the Lord and attended Liberty Baptist Church with his family.  He was a kind, funny, and easy-going soul who was loved by all who knew him.  He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife, Hope Honea; children, Knox, Willa Marie, and Colter Honea; parents, Tim and Julie Honea, sister and brother-in-law, Alison and Logan Hammond; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Van and Dana Samples; brother-in-law, Caleb Samples, all of Dawsonville; aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 at 4 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Tim Bennett and Rev. Jason Hamby will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 11 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 2 p.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made for the benefit of Kyle’s children.  Bearden Funeral Home is accepting donations on behalf of the family.
