Billy Joe Dispain

Billy Joe Dispain, age 77, of Buford, GA, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024.  He was preceded in death by Elmer Dispain, Edith Dispain, and Pauline Dispain.  Mr. Dispain is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenice Manders Dispain of Buford, GA; daughter, Brandi (Robby) Crowe of Buford, GA; son, Brad (Beth) Dispain of Buford, GA; granddaughter, Brooke Dispain; brother, Sam (Janet) Bowen of VA; sisters, Shirley (Wayne) Truitt of Silver City, GA, and Margie Lovell of VA.

Mr. Dispain was born January 23, 1947, in Duluth, GA.  He received his education at Duluth High School.  He was retired from R2B2 Motors after 15 years of service.  Mr. Dispain attended Journey Church in Buford, GA for many years.  He loved old classic cars, antique cars and Drag racing.  He also had a love for baking and cooking.  He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all. 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA, with Rev. Allen Taylor officiating.  Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
