Leiani Sue Cary

Leiani Sue Cary, 78 of Gainesville passed away Wednesday March 27, 2024, at her residence. She was born in 1944 to the late Clark and Mary Lathrop. Leiani enjoyed gardening and being around animals, especially her dog Lucky. She served at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Gainesville, GA and was apart of their choir. She was a free spirit and a gentle person. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Taylor Rhea.

She is survived by her husband, Chip Cary; siblings, Katherine Farrow, Grace Cleary, Sam Cary, Sarah Stoffer, and Laura Angelique Sapp; along with many other loving friends and relatives.

Graveside services will be held Saturday April 6, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Alta Vista Cemetery.
