Gladys Turk Lyle, 86, of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Lyle was the daughter of Joseph (Joe) Lemuel Turk and Ethel Crain Turk of Flowery Branch, Georgia. She retired from Johnson and Johnson (Chicopee Manufacturing) and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for over 60 years where she was a part of their choir.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Tim Mauntler, Flowery Branch; Son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Christy Lyle, Oakwood; Grandchildren Tiffany Lyle Gluodenis (Keith), Athens; Justin Lyle, Oakwood. Bonus Grandchildren, Zachary Anderson, Nick Kelley, and Seth Kelley and Bonus Great Grandchildren Liam and Ian Anderson. She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law Thurmon and Nell Turk, Dacula and Rayburn and Janet Turk, Maysville. A number of nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive.
Mrs. Lyle is preceded in death by her Husband Milton (M.T.) Lyle, Parents, Sisters, Bessie Turk Williams, Vera Turk Parks and brothers, Vertis Turk, Eugene Turk, Artis Turk, and Joseph L. (J.L.) Turk.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday April 4, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Memorial Park Cemetery, Gainesville, GA. The Reverend Shaun Dailey will officiate and her son, Tim Lyle, will deliver the Eulogy. The family will receive family and friends at Little and Davenport Funeral Home Wednesday April 3, 2024, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m.
