Maurice L. Studivant

Obituary Date: Saturday, March 23, 2024
On Saturday, March 23rd,2024, Maurice L. Studivant went home to be with the Lord, he was relieved of all his pain and all stress. A hardworking and gracious man who will now have some much needed rest. He was a native of Hall County, Georgia. He was born in Gainesville, Ga. on September 26th, 1968. He is the son of Edward A. Studivant and the late Annette Lipscomb Studivant. He was the fifth child of six. 

Maurice was a lifelong member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Gillsville, Georgia. He was a man of great strength and a help to all who knew him and he Loved the Lord. He was a Graduate of East Hall High School, in Gainesville, Ga. 

Maurice was proceeded in death by his mother Annette Lipscomb Studivant, two sisters Marilyn Elaine Teasley and Alvie Lynnette S. Birdette, and one nephew Demetrius Shun Studivant.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his father Edward A. Studivant, one son Marquis L. Studivant, two daughters Shilivia Studivant Gaines, and Jala S. Studivant, four granddaughters. One brother Colonel E. Studivant, two sisters Stephanie V. Rucker and Monica Studivant Brown, and a host of nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. He will forever live on as the most loving and caring son, father and brother, he will forever be appreciated by us all.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.  Visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Wimberly Funeral Home between the hours of 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Family will receive friends between 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
