Mildred "Mickie" Gilleland

Mildred "Mickie" Gilleland, 84 of Flowery Branch passed away Tuesday March 26,2024.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Gilleland was the daughter of the late Burie and Irene Shockley England. She was retired from Leece-Neville and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Lynn Cleveland, Gainesville, Danny and Diane Gilleland, Flowery Branch, son, Donny Gilleland, Flowery Branch, grandchildren, Dustin and Amanda Cleveland, Gainesville, Cason and Mollie Cleveland, Flowery Branch, Travis and Shawn Gilleland, Flowery Branch, Rebecca Wiederhold, Ryan, Robbie and Josh Gilleland, great grandchildren, Scout, Indie, Emmie, Rocky and Deuce Cleveland, Brytani Gilleland, Allison Woodruff, Autumn Gilleland, 2 great great grandchildren, Travis Ray Woodruff and Reagan Browning, brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Cindy England, Oakwood, sister and brother-in-law, Janie and Bob Whittiker, Fullerton, California, brother, Johnny England, Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Gary Mumma, Flowery Branch, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Mrs. Gilleland is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James W. Gilleland, sister, Jeanette Collins and brother, Harold England.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 30, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Matthew Vandegriff will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions please be made to Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 3101 Poplar Springs Church Road, Gainesville, Georgia 30507 or Chestnut Mountain Church, 4903 Chestnut Mountain Circle, Flowery Branch, Ga. 30542 in memory of Mrs. Gilleland.
