Denise Smith Holland

Denise Smith Holland, age 59 of Baldwin, Georgia took her heavenly flight home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

Born in Demorest, Georgia on November 04, 1964, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Ellington Smith & Mildred Tench Smith. Denise was a graduate of Habersham Central High School, Class of 1983 and worked for many years as a Pharmacy Technician with KMART Pharmacy. Most of all, Denise was a wonderful wife, loving Mom, doting NeNe to her grandbabies, supportive sister, & friend. In her spare time, she enjoyed Jeep riding, watching the Georgia Bulldogs, and going to concerts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Barrett.

Survivors include her loving husband of 29 years, Steve D. Holland of Baldwin, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Haleigh & Matt Mealor of Toccoa, GA; son & daughter-in-law, Austin & Ashley Holland of Mount Airy, GA; grandchildren, Brody Mealor, Kason Mealor, & Wyatt Mealor all of Toccoa, GA; Clay Holland of Mount Airy, GA; sisters, Phyllis Smith & Wanda Perry both of Toccoa, GA; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & a host of friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in the Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Alto.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
