John Davie Evans

Mr. John Davie Evans, age 68, of Dawsonville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Friday, March 22, 2024 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel. Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Funeral Home. Mr. Brian Woodson will officiate.

Davie was born on November 10, 1955 in Cumming, Georgia. He is the son of the late David W. Evans and Frankie Marie (Reeves) Luna.

He was retired from UPS and was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center. Davie proudly served in the United States Navy.

Davie is survived by his life partner, Veronica Anderson of Dawsonville; daughter, Alie Evans of Atlanta; sister, Sue Millikan of Gainesville; brother, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Evans of Gainesville and granddaughter, Addyson Smith of Gainesville; nieces, Farrah Armour, Eliy & Semper Habib of Woodstock; great-niece, Ava Cara Carnes of Gainesville; nephews, Charles Neal Sumlin of the Bahama, Nassau; Dylan Evans, Chris Evans, and Etsub Habib all of Gainesville; great-nephew, Levi Daniel Evans also of Gainesville.
