Sandra Wheeler Steinman

Sandra Wheeler Steinman, age 76, of Commerce, Ga. passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024. She was born in 1948, to the late Fred and Alta Wheeler. Sandra was a true disciple of Jesus Christ and enjoyed teaching about Him and served in many capacities at her church. In her family she was considered “the Baby Whisperer”, every time she had a chance she would love on her grandchildren. Sandra was a very bright light in the community and will be missed by all who knew her. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Steinman.

She is survived by her children, Tamara (Parker) Barnett, and Jeffrey Morrison; grandchildren, Grey Barnett, Knox Barnett, Jude Barnett, Nash Barnett, Wren Barnett, Sima Barnett, Branden Morrison, and Alexis Morrison; sisters, Wanda Phillips, Linda Lay, and Judy Bertagna; stepchildren, Pandora Steinman-Kehoe, Tony Steinman, Mitch Steinman, Obi Steinman, and Jeffery Steinman; several step-grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4859 Mt. Olive Road, Commerce, GA 30529.
