Peggy Head Ivey

Mrs. Peggy Head Ivey, 86, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024 at Alta Vista Cemetery. Rev. Mike Taylor will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m.

Born on June 27, 1937 in Gainesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Montine Patton Head. She was employed by Warren Featherbone where she was an Administrative Assistant. Mrs. Ivey was a member of First Baptist Church Gainesville.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ivey was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edison Ivey and her dog, Bandit.

Mrs. Ivey is survived by her son and daughter in law, Tim and Amie Ivey of Gainesville; brother, Billy Head of Gainesville and Jeanette Kesler of Gainesville.
