Betty Partin Baldwin

Betty Partin Baldwin, age 93, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, George Baldwin; grandson, Shannon Neal.  She is survived by daughters, Debbie Jo Medlin of Sugar Hill, GA, Vicki Lynn Crisp of Eatonton, GA; grandchild, Kim (Robert) Godwin of Eatonton; four great-grandchildren, Justin Land, Breanna Godwin, Amber Godwin, Shay Neal; sister, Bobbie Gay of Gainesville, GA; nephews, Tommy (Dana) Gay, Jeff (Cindy) Gay, Mike (Sherry) Baldwin, Johnny (Debra) Partin; niece, Joyce Ellenburg; and several cousins.  Mrs. Baldwin was born on October 31, 1930 in Atlanta, GA and was a 1947 graduate of Fulton High School located in Atlanta.  She retired from DeKalb County School System after eighteen years of service with food services.  Mrs. Baldwin was a member of the First Baptist Church of Buford. Our mother, Betty Baldwin, had dedicated her life to her family and friends and was a well-loved member of her community.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Gay and Rev. Jeff Gay officiating.  Interment will follow at North Atlanta Memorial Park in Doraville, GA.  The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
