Joy Wenzler Crawford

Joy Wenzler Crawford, age 80, of Statham, GA passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024.  She was preceded in death by parents, Jimmy and Dorothy Helms Wenzler; sister, Delorse Beaman; brother, Jimmy Wenzler. Mrs. Crawford is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, John R. Crawford; children, Brenda Kay Roberts, Glenn Alan (Kim) Crawford; six grandchildren, Nick, Kourtney, Justin, Christian, Nicole, Dalton; seven great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Kiley, Olivia, Cayden, Hudson, Hunter, Brynlee; brothers, Danny Wenzler, Mike Wenzler. She was born on March 30, 1943 in Memphis, TN and was a 1961 graduate of White Station High School in Memphis.  Mrs. Crawford attended University of Memphis State and was a homemaker.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Statham.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church located in Statham with Rev. Matt Dibbler officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Georgia Veterinary School (501 D. W. Brooks Drive, Athens, GA  30602) in memory of Joy W. Crawford.
