Sequoyah Shablee Jarrells was born July 22, 1978. She departed this life February 26th, 2024, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga.
She is preceded in death by her father Donald S. Smith, brother Dywane Smith.
She was a member of St. John Baptist Church of Gainesville, Ga. She was a graduate of GHS where she played basketball from 1994-1997. She loved spending time with family and friends. Her nieces and nephews were her heart. Sequoyah was a gamer, shoe collector and even loved collecting tennis shoes. Her favorite basketball team was the NC Tarhill and, Georgia was her favorite football team and Batman was her favorite character. She worked at Tab Retail and remodeling for many years, and she was currently working at Walmart where she served as a retail associate manager.
She will be remembered by her mother Helen Treadwell- Anderson of Gainesville, Ga, Stepfather David (Nick) Treadwell of Atlanta, Ga. Her sisters DeShun Smith of Kennesaw, Ga, Leshay Smith of Atlanta, Ga. Brothers David (Tyrane) Treadwell Jr. of Cornelia, Ga, Donta (Nicole) Young of Atlanta, Ga and Cepeda Ware of Gainesville, Ga. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Hillside Chapel. Visitation will be held prior to service on Saturday between the hour of 10:00 -11:00 AM at Hillside Chapel.
