Born December 22, 1942, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he was the eldest son of the late George Russell Sherman and Ruby Arloene (Jagger) Sherman. Mr. Sherman received his Undergraduate Degree from the Indiana Institute of Technology and his Master’s Degree from Colorado State University. After graduation, he worked as a Civil Servant for the United States Navy, first in Corona, California and then in San Diego, California.
