Doyle Franklin "Frank" Baxter

Mr. Doyle Franklin "Frank" Baxter passed away Saturday February 24, 2024.  Survivors include his wife Roberta "Cooter" Baxter of the home, a son Tony Baxter of Ila, a daughter Lisa Brookshire of Homer, brother James Baxter of Nicholson and four sisters, Geraldine Davis of Ila, Leann Huff of Ila and Rebecca Gearing of Danielsville, Opal Patrick of Statham.  10 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren also survive. 

Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 2 PM from the Chapel of :Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce with Rev. Chad Heath officiating with interment in Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends in the funeral home Monday evening from 5 until 8 PM.

Mr. Baxter was preceded in death by his parents Doyle and Lizzie Toole Baxter a son Terry Baxter and a sister Mattie Ruth Christian.
