Leslie Ann Conwell

Mrs. Leslie Ann Conwell, age 77 of Nicholson, GA, died Saturday, February 24, 2024 at her residence.  She was born in Moline, Il to the late, Albert and Betty Seaholm Groth.  Mrs. Conwell was retired from UGA as a receptionist and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Cicely Tankersley.

Mrs. Conwell is survived by her husband, James Conwell; daughter, Annie Huggins (Jason) of Atlanta; sons, John Kinman of Athens, and Joe Kinman of Nicholson; granddaughter, Morgan Huggins; and brother, Stephen Groth of Aurora, CO.

Services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2023 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Zack Hawks and Rev. Gene Todd officiating.  Internment will follow in Nicholson Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
