Jimmy Lee Roberts

Mr. Jimmy Lee Roberts, age 73 of Carnesville passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at his residence.  Mr. Roberts was born in Hall County to the late, Odell and Nellie Marie Crane Roberts. 

Mr. Roberts worked in the commercial construction business for Van Winkle Construction.  Mr. Roberts was known as Uncle Jim Jim to some and Papa Jim to many others. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Roberts was also preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Louise Martin Roberts; son, Greg Roberts; and sister, Linda Beck.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his son, Shane Roberts (Alisha) of Carnesville; grandchildren, Morgan Griffin (Cole), Maribeth Roberts, and Matthew Roberts; brothers, James Roberts of Homer; sisters, Kathy McDaris and Shirley Rylee both of Homer.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, Feb. 25^th at 2 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Crabbe officiating with the interment following at Banks Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 5-7 PM.
