Christine Sealey Watson

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Christine Sealey Watson, age 60 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Thursday, February 22, 2024.  Mrs. Watson was born in Commerce, Georgia the daughter of the late John Henry Sealey and the late Inez Wright Sealey.  Mrs. Watson attended the Little Country Church and was a retired Bus Driver with the Jackson County Board of Education.

Survivors include her husband, Travis “Peabody” Watson of Jefferson.  Son, John Watson of Jefferson.  Two brothers, Donell Sealey (Deborah) of Commerce and I.H. Sealey of Locust Grove.  Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 24, 2024 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Swayne Cochran officiating with burial to follow in the Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Clint Childs, Darrin Sealey, Donnie Sealey, Larry Grizzle, Randall Watson and Brian Moulder.  Cole Sealey alnd Teddy Gee will service as honorary pallbearers.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday, February 23, 2024 at Evans Funeral Home.
