Jacob Shelton

Jacob Shelton, age 29, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024. He was born on February 25, 1994 to Dennis and Chari Shelton.  He resided in Flowery Branch, GA.

Those who knew Jacob, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.  Jacob had an uncanny ability to bring happiness and laughter to all those around him.  He had an enormous heart and was always willing to help those in need without question.  Jacob was humble and most definitely a genuine person.  He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be missed greatly.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Charles (Cotton) King.  Jacob is survived by his parents, Chari Shelton and Dennis (Suzanna) Shelton; brothers, Caleb Shelton and Jordan Shelton; sisters, Kaitlyn Shelton and Leah Shelton; grandparents, Gloria King and John Richard and Glenda Shelton; aunts, Sandra (Mike) Sorrells, Cheryl (Jon) Hope, Lynn (Jesse) Jahnke; cousins, Chris Brannon, Matt Brannon, Ben Hope, Myles Hope and Isabella Jahnke; several great aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.

The Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Nichols officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until time for the service at 3:30 p.m.
