Michael Edward Wilkes

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Michael Edward Wilkes, age 63 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday, February 13, 2024.  Mr. Wilkes was born in Madison, Wisconsin the son of the late Franklin Edward Wilkes and the late Patricia Abraham Wilkes. 

Mr. Wilkes is survived by a daughter, Abigail Tumlin (Dale) of Carnesville, Georgia.  Two grandchildren, Everett and Violet Tumlin.  Sister, Susan Cannon of Jefferson.  Aunt, Clarice Wilkes of Jefferson and two uncles, James and George Wilkes of Jefferson.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
