Mrs. Ruth Pennington Carver, 94, of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024 at her residence following a sudden illness.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2024 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Mike Taylor will officiate.
Born on December 22, 1929 in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Albert Lee and Paralee Ida Free Pennington. She retired from Milliken and was a member of Air Line Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carver was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Carver.
Mrs. Carver is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Lillian McIntyre of Gainesville; Willie Turk of Gainesville; nephew, Randall McIntyre of Gainesville; nieces, Cathy Savage of Lula, Donna McCall of Lula and a number of other loving relatives.
