Robert “Bob” MacDonald

Robert “Bob” MacDonald, age 69, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was preceded in death by parents, William J. and Helen MacDonald; brother, William J. MacDonald Jr; and sister-in-law, Marion MacDonald. Mr. MacDonald is survived by his wife of twenty years, Sandra E. Hall Strickland of Suwanee; brother, Larry (Vicki) MacDonald of Woodstock, GA; nephews, Sean (Megan) MacDonald, Bryan (Ashley) MacDonald; nieces, Samantha (Taylor) Polli, Caitlyn (Dylan) Leno; great nephews, Otto Polli, Maddox Polli, Jeremy Leno, Finnegan Patrick MacDonald, William Joseph MacDonald, Owen MacDonald; great niece, Nora MacDonald; sister-in-law, Melanie (Randall) Headden of Cartersville, GA; brothers-in-law, Jim Hall and Tina Carter of Auburn, GA; and Steve (Joy) Hall of Suwanee. Mr. MacDonald was born on February 12, 1954 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a 1972 graduate of Rippowam High School and attended Dekalb College. Mr. MacDonald was a volunteer fireman at Turn A River in Stamford, Connecticut. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Mr. MacDonald had worked for the Kroger grocery store on Spout Springs Rd in Flowery Branch, GA.

The family will receive friends at Flanigan Funeral Home on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
