Mrs. Mina Joeann Baker, age 81, of Gainesville passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Bell Minor, surrounded by her family.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Rev. Gary Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2024 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
Mrs. Baker was born January 15, 1943 to the late Christopher & Viola Cleveland in Helen. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jimmy Baker of Gainesville; children, Denise & Roy Turner of Gainesville, Kevin & Mandy Baker of Gainesville and Shane & Laura Baker of Martin; grandchildren, Elaina & Scot Mabrey, Grayson & Kirsten Baker, Abagael Turner, Matthew Turner and Michael Turner; great-grandchildren, Oakley Baker, Everette Baker and Damian Mabrey; and siblings, Louise Bohn and Royce Cleveland. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Cleveland.
