Jeffrey Eugene "Jeff" Woods

Mr. Jeffrey Eugene “Jeff” Woods, age 48, of Homer, GA died Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at his residence.  Mr. Woods was born in Tifton to Jimmy and Brenda Duncan Woods of Martin.  He was employed at Holman’s as a forklift operator.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Woods is survived by his wife, Kristy Woods; children, TJ Houk, Jimmy Woods, Matthew Woods, Trisha Hart (Cody) and Wyatt Ledford (Madison); brother, James Woods; sisters, Angie Manual (John), Sandy Shields (Brian) and Gale Woods (Lee); grandchildren, Bentley Richards, Anthony Ledford, Taytum Hart, Teagan Hart, Brody Hart and Charlie Ledford; sister-in-law, Becky Carlan (Tim); mother-in-law, Diane Wood “Mamma D”; and father-in-law, Danny Wood (Cathy).

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, February 10th at Galilee Holiness Church with Rev. Larry Dyer, Mr. J.D. Carter and Mr. Sam Rubio officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 PM on Friday.
