Tammy Jean Smith Rhea

Tammy Jean Smith Rhea, age 58, of Forest Park, GA, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, James Rhea; parents, Brenda Gail Mooney Smith and Donald Lamar Smith.  Mrs. Rhea is survived by her son, Jimmy (Vilmont) Rhea of Powder Springs, GA; two grandchildren, Blake Rhea and Serena Rhea; brothers, Andy (Jackie) Smith of Jefferson, GA, Teddy (Danielle) Smith of Chesapeake, VA; sisters, Janice Earl of Flowery Branch, GA, Donna Gail (Jim) Braun of Norcross, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Rhea was born September 2, 1965 in Atlanta, GA.  She received her education at Roosevelt High School in Atlanta, GA.  She had once worked for Flowers Bakery.  She was of the Baptist faith.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
