Jimmy Darrell Bouldin, 82, of Dawsonville passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 following a period of declining health.
Mr. Bouldin was born March 2, 1941 in Fort Payne, Alabama to the late Herman and Maurine Bouldin. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and spent his entire career working in finance for the U.S. Postal Service. Jimmy enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, gardening, working on vehicles and playing cards but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 48 years, LuRean Overby Bouldin and sister, Wilma Dupree.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Mike Pafford of Dawsonville; grand-daughter, Chloe Pafford; step-children, Cindy and George Allen of Lilburn, Beth Alo of Tennessee, Chris and Thomas Riley of Tennessee, Jeff and Melinda Riley of California, Kim Riley of Cumming; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; beloved dogs, Knox and Nash.
A memorial service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 11:30 a.m.
