Hubert Stanley Gibbs

Mr. Hubert Stanley Gibbs, 82, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 at his residence following an extended illness.

Born on February 5, 1941 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late William Edgar and Ruby Ethel Robinson Gibbs.  Mr. Gibbs was retired and of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gibbs was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Jo Loyd and brothers, Jimmy Gibbs and Billy Gibbs.

Mr. Gibbs is survived by his wife, Carolyn Gibbs of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Christopher Shane and Carla Gibbs; Flowery Branch; brother, Wayne Gibbs; sisters, Rose Marie and Ralph Brooks of Oakwood, Brenda Hembrick of Gainesville; granddaughter, Tamara Poole (Alex) of Hoschton; grandson, Christopher Gibbs of Flowery Branch; great grandson, Greyson Poole; sister in law, Mary Ann Gibbs of Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews
